The Mission

  1. This committee may at it uncontrolled discretion determine and in particular to advance Ravidasia religion in accordance with the teachings and principles of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  2. To work towards elimination of discrimination on the grounds of caste, creed, colour and race as preached and practiced by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  3. To promote equality, justice and good relations between people of different races and backgrounds as taught by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  4. To celebrate the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji and other major events relating to his life.

  5. To accept a holy statue of Shri Gursikhya Sahib for Ravidasia religion and conduct holy services in all times.

  6. To place a statue of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji on the platform of worship.

  7. To collect available literature on the life and teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  8. To preach and advance the holy mission of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji and conduct holy services on Sunday according to Ravidasia religion, believing in one god.

  9. To regards and accept Shri Guru Ravidas Ji a messiah, the absolute truth, the source of eternal life, love and joy, who is a perfect example for anyone to follow who totally defected all the forces of evil.

  10. To accept and honour the selected religion symbol ‘Ravidasia Nishan Sahib’ and the ‘Ardas’ in practice, reflecting the life and teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji and to popularise the same throughout the world.

  11. To get translated the sacred ‘Bani’ and teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji in all major languages of India and the world to spread his message of universal brotherhood.

  12. To create and instil abiding faith in the sacred ‘Bani’ of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji to build confidence among his followers to lead a dignified life.

  13. To use the word ‘Jai Gurudev’ for greeting in particular to followers of the Ravidasia religion also generally to the public at large.

  14. To address the Ravidasia religion followers with the respect by adding the word ‘Chaudhari’ for men and ‘Chaudhrian’ for women before their names.

  15. To address our place of worship as Ravidasia Gurdehera Sahib’ all the time and for all the purposes.

  16. To build commemorative gudheheras at places relating to Shri Guru Ravidas Ji’s life.

  17. To use ‘Majeedi’ colour (red) for the Ravidasia flag.

  18. To accept the holy city Varanasi (Kanshi) UP India, the birthplace of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji as supreme Ravidasia shrine.

  19. To advance individual development and social virtue rather than rites and ceremonies as advocated by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  20. To emphasise the performance of good deeds, in accordance with the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

  21. It is not binding for followers to cover their heads and to be seated on the floor during congregations.
